Discovery Channel creates more interest in retro-engineering

January 7, 2009

The Discovery Channel Special on retro-engineering a living dinosaur recently aired again and spurred more interest among all of the ‘you can’t do that’ critics.  At DNA DATASOURCE we don’t post our opinions, only a wealth of information about interesting and controversial topics, like retro-engineering, stem cell research and cloning, and the newest and most interesting study of molecular archaeology, the world of ancient DNA.

We try to provide information and resources on all things DNA related, from DNA 101 to the most complex elements of DNA profiling, testing, analysis and leading edge technology. Visit us at www.dnadatasource.com, or send us an article or a link to the topic  that interests you. Information, Integrity, and Global Resources. That’s our motto

DNA DATASOURCE Update

October 8, 2008

The re-broadcast of The Discovery Channel special on retro-engineering sparked more inquiries and questions for our experts. That was expected since retro-engineering is such a controversial topic.  Our site continues to grow as we add articles and experts from all DNA related fields. If your business is DNA related you can have a free listing in the category (16 of them) or categories that fits your organization.

We were originally going to charge a click-thru fee for links, but it was more hassle than it was worth. So links are free. We do charge a small fee for display ads on our home page, but it is basically a site that matches people with questions to  people with answers on all things DNArelated.  We expect our reference links to triple before the end of the year.

Have a look. See what’s new.  www.dnadatasource.com

Don’t get left out on Beijing Olympic souviners!

August 15, 2008

You don’t need to attend the Beijing Olympics to feel like you’ve been there. Dooglebooks, an online bookstore, has been selected by NBC as an official supplier of Beijing Olympics merchandise.  As the games draw to a close next week, official souviners from the games are flying off the shelves.  As I write this, Michael Phelps is going for gold number 7 later tonight.  As you read this, you probably know if he is on his way to number 8 on Sarturday night (EST).  We should all be so proud of our olympic athletes. Not only Michael Phelps, but all of the gifted young men and women who have spent the last 4 years (or more) training at a level that most of us can’t even comprehend.  All of these athletes, regardless of their nationality, have my admiration.
